Cosmosys Exhibition XVII: Alpha and Omega

Cosmosys Exhibition XVII: Alpha and Omega

Cosmosys is proud to present to you their seventeenth exhibition; ALPHA AND OMEGA. The most common association that people have with Alpha and Omega are the beginning and the end. Alpha is the first letter in the Greek alphabet, Omega the last. Beginning and ending. With this pack Cosmosys proves it’s far from its ending with 20+ stunning pieces of artwork that either show the start or the end of all. Tidings of the apocalypse, stories of creation and everything in between. Cosmosys delivers, as usual. For this theme we decided to highlight the astounding efforts of BXD, otherwise known as Brandon Duffy; who has awed us all with his outstanding contribution to this pack and the amazing works he has produced for Cosmosys for the last year. We decided to get a closer look on him; read his interview here! All being said and done: Witness the beginning, witness the end. Witness Cosmosys’ 17th Exhibition; Alpha and Omega! Cosmosys Exhibition XVI: AISTHETIKOS

Cosmosys Exhibition XVI: AISTHETIKOS

With the world around us being vast and beautiful and our artists scattered amongst it; “Aisthetikos” was quite a natural choice after being indulged in our third Experiments exhibition. Therefore Cosmosys is delighted to release its Sixteenth Exhibition: Aisthetikos. With a set of varying disciplines which makes Cosmosys great, the various interpretation of our collective’s artists on the world is nothing short of astounding and desperately in need to be shown to the world through the eyes, brushes and lenses of both veteran artists and newcomers. Events like sunrise, dusk, nightfall. Soaring to high skies and diving in deep oceans. Asking ourselves questions on the way we see the world around and each other. Figuring out the meaning behind beauty, even when the context can be devastating and finally the way in which beauty that is so easily forgotten these days. We answer these questions in the way that Cosmosys does best; by making high quality artwork. For this Exhbition we decided to underline the talent of Kuldar Leement; with two absolutely stunning commissions to this exhibition and an amazing track record at Cosmosys, it was as natural to feature him this exhibition as it was to decide the theme for it. We ask you kindly to sit tight; hold to your hoists and indulge yourself in the beauty of things with Exhibition 16: Aisthetikos. Recap of RAW: Columbus

Recap of RAW: Columbus

On Tuesday, I participated in what will likely be my last show with RAW Artists. I have done four of them, and in the future I’ll write up a post about my thoughts on RAW overall- generally positive things. These shows have been a very positive experience for me, and I’m so glad I did them! This show was located in Columbus, Ohio, only about an hour away from where I currently live. For every show done in a home city, RAW offers its artists a complimentary show in another city. This show was one of two comp shows I had available this year; I used the other last month in Indianapolis. While Indianapolis was a very profitable show, I can’t say the same for Columbus, though it was still a mostly pleasant experience. I’ve gone 50/50 on shows with RAW being profitable. I did at least make back my expenses, so I didn’t lose anything by attending. It was very disappointing, though, I won’t lie. There are quite a few factors I think contributed to this show not being as successful as the last. First, and I think most importantly, this show was full of incredible artists. Don’t get me wrong, every show I’ve participated in has been full of really great artists. But this show in particular was very impressive. I felt really outclassed. Also notable was the fact that I was right across from another digital artist, which was actually a first for me at these shows. Not that they don’t bring in digital artists to RAW, because they definitely do, I just haven’t really...

Cosmosys Exhibition XV: Experiments III

After the deeply and incredibly well executed themed packs that were Finite, Illusions, X, Self Portrait, Resistance, Overdosed and Mythos, we wanted to give our wonderful artists a way to go all out without any limitations. The artists rose up to the task and “Experiments III” is the result of that challenge. Without any borders, this artpack is the most diverse set of works we have to offer you yet; bringing both vibrant illustrations and intriguing animations to captivating photography. As we made this artpack, some of the thoughts of our artist lingered off to a beloved friend of the Art community and used this opportunity to pay tribute to Pablo Jeffer da Silva, better known as Rockfield; who passed away last year. Descanse em paz, amigo. Without further ado, widen your eyes for the broad spectrum that Cosmosys offers you with Experiment III, both to celebrate the community that we have within the group and to celebrate the life of a beloved friend.   View this Exhibition   Also, don’t forget to read the interview of our Featured Artist – Maxime des Touches    Read Interview   Thanks for viewing, -Cosmosys Collective My contributions to this exhibition include Vindemiatrix and Impure Thoughts, pictured below.  ...
